Stone Clay Earrings, Honey Calcite Faux Beautiful Stone Earrings, Unique Earrings

Beautiful caramel and translucent swirls are featured in this earring collection. I hand-fashion a mokume gane polymer clay slab and make precise slices. I then meticulously combine the slices to form a beautiful piece of stone-like clay. The shapes are formed by clay cutters. The individual pieces are baked so the final result is just as hard as a stone. The process continues with sanding and polishing. Yes, this process is labor-intensive, but it is so worth it. Its a lot of fun watching the myriad colors and swirls appear like magic. I never know exactly how a piece is going to be until I am finished. The clay has a mind of its own. And that really is cool!
They are comfortable to wear as they are very lightweight. I only use gold or silver-plated findings, so no worries.
